is partnering with Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina (bbb.org)
to help Triangle residents protect themselves from identity theft. Cintas is
sponsoring BBB’s “Secure Your ID” Day on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, and will offer
free document shredding to consumers. The event takes place from 8:00 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Coastal Federal Credit Union headquarters
on St. Albans Drive in Raleigh.
“The ‘Secure Your ID’ Day events are a great way to educate residents
on the dangers of identity theft, while offering them a safe way to dispose of
their sensitive documents,” says Craig Bryant, service manager for Cintas
Document Management. “We are proud to once again partner with BBB in helping
consumers safeguard their identity.”
Cintas Document Management is a nationally operated company with a
local office in Raleigh, N.C., that offers document shredding, imaging and
storage programs to consumers and businesses. This is the third year the company
has supported BBB in its identity protection initiatives.

Eastern North Carolina. “We look forward to another great event in October and
encourage consumers to take advantage of this opportunity.”
Participants are encouraged to bring up to three boxes or bags of
documents that have been removed from binders. In addition to free document
shredding, BBB and other partner organizations will provide tips and resources
to help consumers protect their identity. Additional event information is
